    Squarespace websites are created with built-in responsive design that resizes your content and images to fit different devices and screen widths. Your website looks beautiful on any device, always.

    Simple, User-Friendly Tools

    The 'back-end' of Squarespace is simple and straightforward to use, which means it's really easy for you to manage & edit your website ongoing.

    Built In SEO

    Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) relates to how your website ranks on Google. This depends on many factors, but with Squarespace you don't need to worry about the technical stuff as it's built-in for you!

    Peace of Mind

    Squarespace is a fully ‘managed’ platform (unlike WordPress), which means that you don't need to worry about any updates or website maintenance.

    All Squarespace websites have SSL certificates, which means everyone can enjoy a secure connection throughout your website.

    You also get the added bonus of top-of-the-line security and personalised support with the 24/7 Squarespace Help Centre.

    Most clients require either the Business Plan, or the Basic Commerce Plan. You can pay for the Squarespace plans either monthly or annually.

    The Squarespace Plan and the cost of your domain is separate to the Porth Design website design fee.

    As a Squarespace Circle Silver Partner, all websites Porth Design create are eligible for a 10% discount on annual Plans for the first year.

  • Squarespace Circle is an exclusive community of creatives, developers and designers.

    With special access as a Squarespace Circle member, Porth Design clients receive free hosting during development for up to 6 months (rather than the standard 14-day trial) and 20% off your first year of Squarespace hosting!

  • Mailchimp is an email marketing service you can use to design and send email campaigns and newsletters. You can use Mailchimp to collect email addresses and grow your subscriber list through your website.

  • We understand the importance of search engine optimisation (SEO) in driving organic traffic to your website.

    Be rest assured, all our websites are set up with good SEO practices from the start.

    All Squarespace sites are built for clean indexing by search engines. During the design of the website, we will follow a basic SEO checklist to optimise your site's structure, meta tags, and content to improve its visibility on search engines, increasing your chances of ranking higher in search results.

  • It's really helpful if you have an idea of the scope of your project, for example the number of website pages and what features you may need on your website, before our initial meet.

    Once we've scheduled your project, we will send you a helpful ‘Website Prep’ document before we get started. You'll be asked to gather all the relevant content & imagery we need to make your website unique to your business. You'll also need to get your domain details together if you haven't already. Don't worry, we are always on hand to help if needed!

  • When we're ready to get started, you will receive a contract and invoice for a 50% Deposit of the Project Fee.

    Once the website is launched, you'll receive an invoice for the remaining 50% of the Project Fee.
